Oct. 17: 2008 MEDA Fall Conference
Faced with the potential loss of jobs due to corporate downsizing and mergers, economic development professionals have stepped-up their Business Retention efforts. Join the Maryland Economic Development Associatoin at its annual fall conference where we will hear from corporate and government leaders about state, local, and regional Business Retention programs. The conference is planned for October 17 from 10am-3pm at Rocky Gap Lodge in Allegany County. Plan to arrive early for the 9-10am networking hour and continental breakfast.
Panelists will include local and national leaders in the field of Business Retention as well as corporate representatives who have benefited from the strong programs that exist in Maryland.
