University of Maryland Offers Certificate in Innovation Management
The University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering and the Robert H. Smith School of Business is offering a Certificate in Innovation Management Program. The six class series for entrepreneurs, small-business owners, and executives will provide information on managing, marketing, and maximizing innovation.
The courses, offered as both individual one-day and two-day modules and as a part of the certificate program, include two conferences and several lectures by UMD faculty and real-world entrepreneurs. Enrollment in at least six of the one-day modules will earn the Certificate in Innovation Management and will provide additional benefits, including discounts and free admittance to three UMD business conferences.
Register by September 12 for a 20 percent discount on the series and $100 off individual courses. A limited number of scholarships are available for participants enrolling in six- or eight-day certificate series and group discounts are also being offered. The first course in the series begins October 9. For more information on the series, registration, and discounts visit www.execed.umd.edu.
