WTP’s Diehl Named to United Way of Central Maryland’s Board of Directors
Deborah (Debbie) H. Diehl, a Partner with Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP, has been selected to serve a three-year term on the United Way of Central Maryland’s Board of Directors. Diehl has been actively involved with the United Way as a member of its Women’s Leadership Council and Vision Council.
Diehl is a corporate lawyer, with a special focus on financing, including taxable and tax-exempt and venture capital financing, in the firm’s Baltimore office. Her clients include, among others, a large international supplier of mobile and modular office and storage space, educational institutions, technology companies, municipalities, health care systems, and continuing care retirement communities. She is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and listed among the Best Lawyers in America, Maryland’s Super Lawyers, and Who’s Who in America.
A frequent lecturer and author, Diehl is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Maryland State Bar Association’s Business Law Section Council (former chair from 2002-2003). Additionally, she is a board member of various other organizations and professional associations.
